As part of this Halloween Special, I have tried so many attempts to make a post regarding this person and the backstory, but it all fell through due to some situations that were solved pretty quickly so this was discarded. Reaction channels have been a greyscale for me when it comes to originality. Almost everyone does reaction videos, even the terrible ones like Shelos1Life, Jinx, and Alexia Marano. Now that new information has been coming out against SniperWolf, I think it's time to talk about it because not only it's crazy but it also has led her to an insane downfall when it comes to her content. It's no surprise that what it all comes down to is just being manipulative and not being remorseful for her actions.

There are so many layers of drama surrounding SSSniperWolf (also known as Lia for short or Alia Marie Shelesh in longer terms) that this post would be way too long for how much there is to cover so I decided to talk about some of the important ones. Where this all starts is around October of 2022 where Jack (also known as Jacksfilms) made a video just titled 'SSSniperWolf' talking about her unoriginal content and that Jack would create a parody channel 'JJJacksfilms' to basically call her out and critique her for not crediting the original creators. Lia would seriously have a problem with actually crediting the original creators even if it's from TikTok which she does very often.
Where the actual drama starts was back on June 23, 2023, where the YouTube Creators Twitter account posted a tweet talking about SSSniperWolf as to where she gets her content. Where it all falls is when people put pieces of a puzzle together as she legit steals content from other creators. Not long after the tweet was up, Jack responded to this with 2 images; one is a screenshot from the quotes from the YouTube Creators Twitter account and the other is SSSniperWolf's content. Apparently, she's been doing this ever since the change of her content from gaming videos to reaction videos. What the end result was a barrage of tweets from both Jack and Lia fighting back and forth against each other. Of course, Lia tries to justify everything related to gender in this situation and how Jack is sexist which is not really the case. All what Jack is doing is critiquing whereas Lia calls it harassment. Again, this is not the case. Jack talked about male reaction channels in the past so it's nothing to fall back on.
For the next few months, Jack would continue to post videos about her and how she still steals content without giving proper credit. What makes it a problem is how she makes profit off of someone else's clips and you can definitely tell that she's all in it for the money. It's not just her that does it, it's in fact more of a common thing. Jack posted a video on September 29, 2023, titled 'The WAR on Stolen Content' where he talks to other YouTuber's as well as TikToker's and discuss their distaste in the idea. SSSniperWolf was among the worst ones. It gets even worse, when some of the users filed copyright complaints of their clips shown in SniperWolf's videos, what she'll do is cut the clip out to where the video duration is lower and to prevent the takedown request. So, with all that in mind, she's trying to bypass everything as if she did nothing wrong. When it comes to her revenue, profiting off these clips had made her buku bucks with the highest being over $600k in July of 2022 but dropped over time until today.
Now as of today, she had destroyed her career with one mistake. On October 13, 2023, she made a poll (since deleted) on instagram whether or not to go to Jack's house because apparently, she lives 5 miles from where he lives? With over a million followers, she literally doxxed Jack claiming she had no ill intentions. On October 14, Jack posted a tweet talking about it in response to YouTube telling them to either demonetize her or just remove her off the platform. It's honestly disgusting that YouTube still lets these people on their platform. But anyways, Jack continued to post tweets to which YouTube did absolutely nothing except for the temporary demonetization. YouTuber's got a hold of this story like oompaville, FunkyFrogBait and Penguinz0 and made videos talking about the topic.
This set the community into a frenzy. It took roughly a week for Lia to ever get a response from her. On October 20, 2023, she made a statement in a tweet which reads:
"Let me start by saying I'm sorry for my recent actions; It is inexcusable. I'm sorry to Jacksfilms, YouTube, the entire creator community, and my incredible fans for not being a better example for appropriate conflict resolution. Jacksfilm, while we certainly don't see eye to eye and have our differences, I am sorry for reacting the way I did when I should've taken the opportunity to show young creators how adults and professionals resolve conflict by communicating directly, respectfully, and privately; not for views or content, but a meaningful example of how conflict should be solved. I will reach out directly and hope we can find some time to connect and communicate, respectfully. I'd also like to thank YouTube for holding me accountable. I deserve it, respect the decision and appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow from a true lapse in judgement." - Lia.
The response for this (as expected) was met with more mix to negative reception. As a matter of fact, some people pointed out that the response was done via AI or ChatGPT because of the phrases and wording of the statement. Essentially, trying to pull a Kwebblekop. Also, no one says thank you as a way of holding you accountable when you know that you're the enemy in this situation. The response got attention again and more YouTuber's like TehMimi and Tyler Chou talked about the topic.
Roughly three days ago, she made a community post talking about the drama again and wanting to move on from this situation. She also says that she's taking a step back and essentially trying to better herself as a person. As a result, this was met with negative reception due to it being poorly written and the fact that she brings up mental health as an excuse. What's interesting about this is that I had the community post pulled up however just today, she had deleted it. Thankfully it has since been saved and can be access through the archive.

This was not just the first crime she ever committed. Apparently, there had been an arrest record that goes all the way back into 2013 for an armed robbery. I'm not sure if this is real so if anyone can confirm this, thank you. Anyways, Lia has also been in the center of predatory behavior. This all came up after a tweet by @TheRealSullyG of a screenshot of SSSniperWolf on Omegle engaging with a minor. Lia lied to the girl saying that she was 15 when at the time she was 24. The video was deleted after it had surfaced. Behind the scenes, she's been deleting these videos to avoid the controversy. However, someone examined several of her videos and compiled a 6 page google docs document with 15 video bullet points of her doing predatory behavior. In the document is also evidence of her deleting videos. Well, we can say that she tarnished her whole 'career' with the flip of a switch.
