Whatever Happened to DanBrownUniverse

Side Note: Please do not go and attack or harass this person.

Welcome back yet again to another episode of Whatever Happened To; where we talk about YouTuber's that were very promising but soon fell apart for being terrible. Near the ending of September, I talked about WhiteBoy7thst and how he was considered to be the few old-school Call of Duty content creators out there and trembled downward for being terrible. For today we are talking about an old-school vlogger and a Rubiks Cube enthusiast for the people like me who grew up watching YouTube in the early days would recognize this person. For this we have Dan Brown who use to do vlog related videos and could've grown in the millions but cut it too short and hid within the Reddit premises.

There's not much to discuss in terms of his history with being on YouTube so I'll just make this brief. Dan Brown (also known as Daniel Scott Zahller Brown) started his account on December 22, 2006. Dan was considered to be the first few people to ever solve the Rubiks Cube on a Pogo Stick. Because on how popular the Rubiks Cube was getting or has been during that time period, Dan would upload several videos on how to solve the Rubiks Cube and eventually moved up from the 3x3 to the 4x4. Because Pogobat was his main channel, he decided to create a secondary channel just called 'Dan Brown.' That channel was dedicated for a series called Dan Brown Universe where people would donate him stuff to put on his wall as well as answer questions and sometimes go on adventures. Dan Brown Universe would last between March 31, 2008, to September 22, 2008, with the final episode being Episode 25: Brownie Pride.

What Happened to Him:

Rated #6 for Rubik's Cube Creator.

Dan would continue posting videos on both his channels. The channel that he made specifically for Dan Brown Universe had stopped uploading since August of 2009. His main channel was eventually renamed from Pogobat to just Dan Brown. His last video was on December 3, 2015, and it was titled "MONOPOLY - How to Beat Your Friends." The real question is whatever happened to him? Well, to be perfectly honest, I don't really know. While he does still have some online presence, it's considered to be lost within the ages. What's crazy is that under the famous birthdays in his name, he's rated at number 6 for Rubik's Cube Creator. Nothing really surprising there, just thought I would point that out.

So, there have been a discussion on a reddit post talking about Dan Brown and Pogobat as to whatever happened to them. It turns out that he came back and rebooted his channel as to being a leftist channel. Many people liked the approach he was going but this didn't last long as he was completely burned out of making videos anymore. What's interesting is that he's still using his Pogobat reddit account with the latest post from yesterday. Though he doesn't post often, he sometimes does once in a blue moon. Other than that, he does have a Twitter account but hasn't been used since 2011 so that's a bit of a greyscale.
