Oh boy did I find another scam company that is just about as bad as DKOldies. This company that I'm talking about is Lukie Games which doesn't have as much of a controversial history regarding games and consoles but is on the level of shittiness as DKOldies. I've talked about DKOldies before several times. Twice in January and a third time in March. Apparently, this company Lukie games also do the same exact thing although less severe than what DKOldies has been doing for the last 10 years. So anyways, we are talking about Lukie Games which is a company that specializes in refurbished games and consoles however spawned a wave of negative attention in terms of the reviews and review sites.

Lukie Games was founded in 2008 in Miami, Florida by Jesse Cover who is considered to be the president for the company based on the information on crunchbase. Sara Cover is the owner of Lukie Games while the other two people are either supervisors or the warehouse managers (a total of 4 people work for this company). It is a privately owned company with an employee count between 11-50 employees. In terms of their website back in the day (around the time when the financial collapse happened in 2008), they only had an ebay store before finally opening their website to the public on July 21, 2009. Just like DKOldies, they specialize in old school video games as well as refurbished stuff like consoles. At the time, they only had a limited stock of games to choose from but since then, they've expanded their store so now you can see what's all on there. This is also a company where they sell toys which is odd.

I'm not going to do the whole comparison between prices with this company as to what I did with DKOldies so some things will be left out. From what I've seen online, Lukie Games seems to be a pretty legit company with somewhat reasonable prices. Of course, they always have a big sale to where you can get any games or consoles for a very cheap price on their website. However, there is the negative attention from the community due to fake advertising and damaged products much like DKOldies. A lot of the reviews on Lukie Games are filled with 1 star reviews on one website. From the customer complaints, the products either arrived damaged, customer support is terrible and they just flatout lie on everything. Like I said, the prices seem reasonable, but you're better off just buying from another store that's cheap. One thing that Lukie Games does is rig their system like blocking customers who claim they're abusing the return policy when their just returning items. Based on this one customer complaint on Better Business Burearu, that particular situation happened and essentially what Lukie Games wrote is that 'were just sticking it to the system.'
A lot of people have been on the fence about it with the whole communities reaction being a mixbag. I mean you can see it for yourself by doing a YouTube search for Lukie Games Scam. Jacob R who which we mentioned before with the DKOldies scams has also made several videos on Lukie Games and the consoles including SomeOrdinaryJoe also calling it a scam. I mean it's no joke that when companies like Lukie Games come along, they always try to make it worse for the customers who are interested in buying games for their collection. There's no other way around it with a frustrating process.
