You know when somethings bad and you know it's bad? That's how we feel about it nowadays when it comes to modern day YouTube. Any sort of shit that spews out of people's mouths to get people to hate you for it forever. What the end result is false/misinformation that spreads like wildfire. In any cases, we had a couple of them like Art Van Grow and Young Defiant. Those people are just the obvious trolls and fail to prove any points leading to more backlash however this guy takes the cake also. For today's post we are talking about Achilles Argyle; a furry YouTuber who came into presence and left after two videos but was completely known for being a racist in one of his videos.
The Major Fall:
Why We Need Racism Video / Backlash / Memes:
Now I'm glad that I'm making a post about this even though it's almost 2 years later. So where do we begin with this? Well, way back in May of 2021, Achilles makes a video titled "Why We Need Racism" (video shown above) where he tries to compare counter-culture and SJWs and suggesting that Africa should be "Left to their own devices." The points he made were absolutely horrendous and tops it off for being one of the worst videos he's ever made. As a result, this got a lot of hate to the point where it got taken down from YouTube due to hate speech. However, users were able to reupload the video in it's entirety.
Not long after the video was uploaded, it got the attention of Relolyn, Just A Robot, Crying Blossom, LagoVirt, Coyote Lovely and many others to make videos on this guy and why he's absolute shit. During the light of the drama, it was picked up as a blog post on knowyourmeme.com as well as other meme-based sites like Ifunny (which I talked about them in another blog post).
The Disappearence:
Everyone hated this guy (except for some degenerates) to the point where he left YouTube and never came back (finally). Based on his last video he posted titled "Why I Watch VTubers (And Why You Should, Too)" which sits at 1k likes to 14.7k dislikes, the only other tweet he posted was on May 28, 2021, claiming that it was all due to a power cut. In actuality, he just disappeared because of all the hate coming his way. In other words, I'm glad that this motherfucker is gone off of the internet in hopes he never comes back.
