Well, apparently this company known as SuperBAM Inc. (the same company who copyrights content they don't even own) is now back into the spotlight again. It's almost as if they won't admit defeat already or at least admit their actions because they're in it for the money. For those that don't know and need context, I did post in February of 2023 titled "SuperBAM Inc: The Alternate CollabDRM Clone" and how they're copyrighting content they don't own but has Trisha Paytas behind the companies back. Because it has been roughly almost a full year since I last talked about SuperBAM Inc. there has been some pretty unique information that came out recently, but some that I completely missed from the last time.
What's New:
Revenue for Pirated Content / Claims Still Ongoing / False Claim on Memeulous:
SuperBAM is the prime definition of doing something wrong with their need for attention. Much like ViralHog and CollabDRM (two other posts I discussed previously), they copyright content that isn't theirs or isn't part of a contract. Even worse is when they make money off of it. Wayback in the start of 2022, there was an article on TubeFilter talking about how SuperBAM reclaimed $10 million not from the earnings but straight from pirated content from YouTube, TikTok and Twitch. Even worse is when someone makes content behind a paywall, SuperBAM abuses the living shit out of it and therefor making the content creator on a lose situation.
To make matters worse people are still getting claim by them to this very day, not just from them but also when YouTuber's signed a contract with them (or they hope so). An example of that is SuperMarioLogan (or SML for short) Almost a good chunk of videos from smaller creators who make clips or moments of SML will constantly get struck down. It was the one thing I talked about last time when the whole disputes were so bad during that timeframe and it's even worse now. So while SuperBAM still has a presence, the battle isn't even over for who owns the content.
The last thing I wanted to talk about and what prompted me to make an update post on SuperBAM is two British Cucklords by the name of Memeulous and ImAllexx ended up getting false copyright claims on the same day (January 11, 2024) by another terrible cuck known as Jack Doherty (talked about him in another post). What's interesting is that the claim was definitely Jack Doherty in this case because his name being in the title but if you look at what it was claimed by it clearly shows SuperBAM Inc. Jack responded in the tweet stating that it wasn't him that made the claim yet no one and I repeat, no one was believing it. Not in the least bit.
