Worst YouTuber Segment: Whatever Happened to Parker's Tutorials

Hello and welcome back once again to another episode of Whatever Happened To; where we talk about YouTuber's that were very promising but soon fell apart for being terrible. The reason why I'm doing these frequently is because the lack of terrible YouTuber's that are dwindling. Sure, there's some that have been coming up but if you want more information, please refer to this post. Anyways, about 3 to 4 days ago, I talked about the mixbag yet polarizing reception of V1nce Cuh and how he started his channel from basically mocking PNGTubers to leaving within the same year. Here is an oldschool YouTuber that was around the golden age known as Parker's Tutorials.

Parker's Tutorials (who also goes by just the name Parker) started his account on June 2, 2008, and uploaded his first video two days later on June 4 titled "Bicycle Camera Mount." Parker's primary focus was merely tutorials and stuff related to making props for things like How to build a minigun, How to make a fake security camera, How to make a prop Iphone and so on. Near the end of each video, he would also do a thing called a 'test film' where he films himself doing a skit with the prop he taught people how to make. Throughout the later years he would continue to make props and eventually do a collab with Indy Mogul, the same people who do special effects (or SFX for short). One of his most popular and yet most viewed video on the channel is titled "Build a Lightsaber!!!" which sits at over 1.5M views.

Parker continued to post videos until around May of 2017. His last and final video that was uploaded to the channel is titled "HOW TO: Futuristic Gatling Gun (Toy Gun Makeover)" was on May 26, 2017. Many people were concerned as to whether or not he'll ever returned. Since it's been roughly 6 years since his last video, whatever happened to him? To be perfectly honest, many people are asking the same thing. Based on the video uploads on his channel, you can definitely tell that the uploads are far apart from each other, even comparing it to what it was back then.

His Facebook Page has been set to a private page and his Twitter account was deleted a long time ago and there isn't even a way to access it through the wayback machine. Despite his disappearance from YouTube, Parker went through a sex change from male to female and also a name change from Parker to Violet. He still has a presence online mostly in the form of special fx and 3D art model renditions on his website. As far as I can tell, that's the only way you can see his active presence. My theory on him leaving YouTube is that he wanted to pursue his dream of becoming a 3D artist, I really don't know.
