Well since it's the month of July already (as if this year is blowing by so fast), I can safely say that this is the first-year anniversary of this blog and to be perfectly honest I'm just as surprised as you are. It's also crazy that I wasn't expecting for this blog to take off as it was but since it has gotten so far with over 100 posts (with some containing updates), it's an achievement overall. Since this is the first-year anniversary, there won't be as much in this post in terms of it being too much informative however I will put up a couple of my favorite posts that I've worked on in the past kind of similar to when I did that of New Years Day. So here are a few of my favorites that I've worked on in the past. Unfortunately, given the fact that we can't see tweets from Twitter without an account as well as Google doing this change where it's removing the album archives, this blog is pretty much dead if things won't change. With that being said, let's begin.
Adfly: Full Post
Adfly is considered to be the most well-known URL shortener that was regularly used in the Minecraft community. What made the service interesting compared to others at the time was the ability to earn money for the number of clicks they get which means getting between $1-$5 per thousand clicks. The service started to drop in quality due to the number of pop-up ads that would appear frequently even though they stated that it doesn't have them. It didn't used to do this back in 2012 so something probably went horribly wrong. Also, in this day and age, Adfly is considered to be extremely dated and I haven't heard anyone used the service since then.
ImJayStation: Full Post
ImJayStation (formerly known as Jason Either) was the first ever post I did here on this blog. Honestly, you couldn't blame me because the guy sticks out like a sore thumb. Jason has been in the center of controversy since being exposed by his fake 3AM Challenge videos on YouTube which pulled communities together to make fun of him. The controversy sparked outrage when he was exploiting celebrity deaths including the deceased YouTuber Etika. The backlash was so horrendous that it took YouTube a year to two years to terminate his channel. Then to make matters worse, he goes onto Dr. Phil to try and force YouTube to reinstate his channel like he's done nothing wrong. Total bologna.
Free Fur All: Full Post (Update 2 & 3)
Free Fur All is without a doubt one of my favorite posts to talk about regardless if it's in a community that I fucking despise. Free Fur All was exposed for being tied with the alt-right and the furry community wanted the con to die. The con did happen resulting in lower attendees and it failed miserably. Since then, the management of the con was (and still is) on the brink of collapse with Jasonafex and Kabs (two most notorious zoophiles) purchasing the rights to the AWOO Association and therefor no longer being under the 501(c)(3). However, with the Con soon coming up again and under a new leader, it's never going to happen. Even if it does happen again, there's going to be 5 people there.
