TheSoul Publishing: The Big Joke on YouTube

Side Note: Please do not go and attack or harass these people.

Well, It's the end of May and I haven't talked about a company or website in a while so let's talk about this company titled TheSoul Publishing. Probably the most ironic thing about this is when I first returned to this blog around the start of October 2022, I had this post sitting on here since then however it was scrapped and was deleted. So now I'm redoing this post because it's pretty important. Anyways today we are talking about TheSoul Publishing which is a company that became mass produced and specializes in kid related content, colorful skits, lifehacks, animations, art and so on but ended up being circulated around the controversy with the way they handle their content including things that are downright dangerous.

Brief History / Origin:

TheSoul Publishing (ADME LTD) was founded in 2016 by two web developers in Russia named Pavel Radaev and Marat Mukhametov. It was founded in Limassol, Cyprus and it is a privately held company with the company size holding as much between 1000-5000 employees at a time. TheSoul Publishing have expanded its headquarters throughout the world inlcuding United States, Latvia, England, Hungary and Remotely through computers. Alternatively, they also have other headquarters throughout other parts of the world as well. The company specializes in Entertainment and have blown-up all-over YouTube with creating a vast majority of YouTube channels and subsidiaries. At the time I'm making this post, TheSoul Publishing has over 1.5 billion followers in total (if you count TikTok) making it one of the biggest companies that even surpasses Disney, PewDiePie, T-Series and many others as an example.

The Major Fall:

Content Farming / Copying Styles? / Copyright Issues:

If you've seen my post on 5-Minute Crafts (a post that was made back in December and was considered to be the first ever channel created by them), you'll know that TheSoul Publishing owns that channel along with the sister channels so I'm not going to be talking about it here. TheSoul Publishing is known for creating a wide range of problems when it comes to the content they produce on YouTube. An article published by Vox called the content cringy and bizarre. It was also another way to do the content farming technique because a lot of their videos are close or over 10 minutes long and they produce over 1000 videos every single month. YouTuber's like Jarvis Johnson and OnlySuper made videos on them and how their content is terrible.

Even with all the clickbait bullshit that goes on with TheSoul Publishing and the frequent video post, they have been getting away with trying to copy people's styles. An almost primary example of this is the channel titled Teen-Z which is all about magic and school life and kind of similarities to that of Monster High, however there was a reddit post going around that TheSoul Publishing was copying a series on YouTube titled Hazbin Hotel made by Vivziepop. Many people have said that there is some similarities but there was suspicion to that of the one based on Alastor's design named Zalastor (I mean it's very obvious). Other than that, this was pretty tame.

This is not the first time they've done this. On April 19, 2020, 123 GO! (one of the sister channels) had basically copied and stole an idea from a YouTuber named Jianhao Tan. You can definitely tell the sets are identical based on the styles and the colors. Jianhao Tan fans were displeased that they dislikedbomb the video receiving a mixed response and pointing the finger at 123 GO! Meanwhile Jian had made a video response to it on his other channel basically poking fun at the nearly identical setups in 123 GO's video. The situation was resolved after a higherup from 123 GO! reached out to Jian apologizing about this and gave him credit for his video.

Here is where the situation gets quite bad in this case. TheSoul Publishing had been going around to specific YouTube channels claiming that the YouTuber's were violating their copyright. Way back in October of 2021, A YouTuber by the name of Upper Echelon posted a video (shown above) in which he goes over TheSoul Publishings business practices as well as them sending him an email telling him that he violated their copyright. Upper Echelon was the only person to ever get something like this. The email goes on to say to contact them on an application called Whatsapp to avoid any strikes as possible. Now anyone with functioning braincells knows that this is a steaming line of bullshit with the way on how TheSoul sends emails. It's completely absurd in of itself.
