Well today is the 4th of May (May the 4th be with you) and it's that time once again to talk about another YouTuber post. I recently took a short break from talking about YouTuber's and instead focused on discussing the atrocities of Elsagate and how those channels were fucking meaningful levels of awful. Now were back to talk about iilluminaughtii; a YouTuber that makes content related to businesses and the failures of a company but was sucked up into drama that was related to abuse, manipulation and flatout lies therefor entering the title for one of the worst YouTuber's out there. This was completely rewritten because the drama before was very minimum.
iilluminaughtii (also known as Blair Zoń) started her account on May 9, 2013. It was uncertain to find which video she made first but from what I understand, she didn't start her career until 2019. At this point, she made her first video titled "What is an MLM? The History of Multi-Level Marketing." Her earliest of content consisted of Multi-Level Marketing with companies like Monat, Chanel and LuLaRoe. Shortly after, Blair started to make videos based on organizations like Autism Speaks, PeTA and the popular Pyramid Scheme known as HerbalLife. Doing these types of videos gained her a following gaining her such a fairly large size viewership as well as subscribers. One of her most popular videos on her channel is titled "The Horrors of Autism Speaks" which sits close to 4M views. For her channel, she sits at 1.63M subscribers at the time I'm making this post.
The Major Fall:
LegalEagle Drama / Abuse Allegations / Failed Response:
So there's a chunk of the story that I'm skipping with the versus battle between Blair and another YouTuber by the name of Tipster. If you want to see the video regarding Blair's tactics, click here.
Here is some recent drama that happened a little over a week ago. One of the editors named Danny Malkam Drew from LegalEagle reached out to Blair just to simply ask what type of software/plugins she used. On April 20, 2023, Blair made a tweet thread (which has since been deleted but can be viewed here) claiming that Drew was trying to plagiarize her video editing styles, including using a pseudo paper rip and a highlight to basically back her claims as well as including Discord messages. To simply put it, it wasn't the case as the thread ended up getting backlashed and was eventually deleted. This got the attention of Hbomberguy and Leon Lush to make a tweet trying to figure out what was wrong about her statements. LegalEagle made a response thread on Twitter explaining that Danny was asking what plugin did she used and was also unaware that he reached out to her. LegalEagle also explains that Danny is a freelancer who makes his own videos. Keep in mind that this is all about video styles and plugins and Blair made it as a public outcry.
If you thought that the versus battle with her and LegalEagle was bad, it gets way worse from here on out. So, Blair used to be a member of a channel called Sad Milk along with three other members named Oz Media, Wonderstruck Guy and Damien Lee. The former members are One Topic At A Time, The Click and Salty. On something other than her lashing out at smaller creators, Sad Milk members had discontinued the channel and left due to Blair's shitty behavior towards them. Wonderstruck came out with a TwitLonger about the situation while others like Oz made a tweet thread about it and the same goes to One Topic. The Click also made a tweet thread about the abuse he suffered. There was a lot more stuff behind the scenes but it was somehow resolved. Blair kept silent for roughly a week but on April 28, 2023, Blair makes a video titled "iilluminaughtii exposed" in which she discussed the recent layers of drama towards her as a response as well as apologizing to LegalEagle. As a result, the video was met with mixed reactions but more leaning towards more dislikes. However almost every comment is negative. YouTuber's like sensitive soci3ty and TomDark made videos on the situation
The Decline:
After the drama with LegalEagle (April 20) leading up to today sent her to a decline and quite possibly a severe one. There was at one point where she had 1.7M subscribers but during last week to today, she had lost 11k subs. Quite frankly because of the fabricated lies she spreads and of course, I knew right from the beginning that things were becoming more and more sketchy. The worst part about this is that after that exposed video she did, she kept on going with posting videos as if nothing ever happened. Well, now we know her true color and she'll never recover from this.
