Youtooz: The Craziest Drama

Side Note: Please do not go and attack or harass these people.

Well now, this is strange. A channel related to making plushies and figurines similar to Funko Pops. I mean what could possibly go wrong? Well pretty much a lot since it's considered to be one of the worst companies to ever surfaced in modern times. This is also considered to be the second time I ever get to talk about a company like this that also have a YouTube channel. The only other time I talked about a company was DKOldies along with a followup sequel. Well today we are talking about Youtooz; a company established in 2019 that's dedicated to making plushes and figurines related to YouTuber's, games, etc. but was eventually caught stealing several peoples designs without permission.

The Fall:

Stealing Concept Art & Others:

I'm not going to talk about their history becuase it's pretty short as well as a recent company. So Youtooz is known for originally selling plushies that were related to popular YouTuber's. Back in July of 2021, a twitter user by the name of @sunnygrapejuice posted evidence that Youtooz stole their concept art without permission. They did reach out to the original artist and give them credit but apparently it wasn't much. There was a debate on whether or not if this was credible, however this is up for you to decide but in my opinion straight up stealing things is flat out wrong. I put this company on the list because many of the designs were quite shit and pretty damn terrible and cringeworthy compared to other figure companies.

The Website Incident / Response:

Youtooz offering to buy the domain from Alex.
They banned Alex from the subreddit.
Refunded the purchases on the website.
Notified his parents and sent him a cease and desist.

Now this is where things start to get fucking crazy. Apparently, this story involved a 14-year-old kid named Alex who bought a domain under the name uwuooz. Youtooz reached out to him offering to buy the domain, but Alex refused on the offer saying that he had other plans for the site. The end result is Youtooz banning him from the subreddit, refunding the purchases from the website, contacting Alex's parents and sent him a cease and desist telling him not to speak about this issue. This caught the attention of several YouTuber's like Laser Penguin, Jalyn and Nattie Forsyth to make videos on the company. Needless to say, their egotistical fucks who don't know any better and with that you're better off spending your money elsewhere.

However that doesn't stop there. Youtooz actually responded about this sort of drama on their subreddit that was about Alex saying that they didn't threaten anyone with a lawsuit, a cease and desist and warnings. They also claimed that they reached out to them to try and resolve the situation. Even if the site said 'fuck youtooz' on it, I still don't buy it. Instead, they took things too seriously and thus the problems occurred at Alex. It's such a pathetic take. I don't know, what are your thought on the situation?
