I guess what you call an appropriate title for this one since this guy tries his damnedest to travel but fails at it horribly. Videos that do challenges end up being the worst on YouTube along with the commentary channels and to be honest I can't determine which one is the worst. Almost every challenge video that is shown on YouTube do exactly more harm than anything else. It's downright horrible but it doesn't stop this guy and for this we have Killem; a YouTube Challenge/Vlogger that does challenges and vlog related videos on YouTube but was eventually caught lying to his viewers with a video supposedly traveling to other countries as well as flat-out clickbaiting and using bots.
The Big Fall:
Clickbait Videos / The Mailing Challenge:
I'm not going to talk about the history on this guy because of his upload rate being too large and spaced out to the point where it would become boring to talk about. So, Killem (formerly known as Lord Thomas Kevin Stanniland and KillemFTW) is known for clickbaiting his audience. It's not really surprising because we've all seen it before from other creators on this platform. It's just as stupid as how we remembered it being. A lot of these challenges that Thomas does aren't believable because he either is trying to kill himself or he's just straight up pathetic. Even if you did a search based on his 'entertainment' rank, he's considered to be the 809 rank making him one of the lowest. Nothing special there, just thought I would point that out.
So, Thomas used to do these videos between 2016 and 2017 of him mailing himself to other countries or in some cases random places like shipping containers. Most of these videos are fake because he went to the places himself in order to pretend that the challenge was real. Perhaps probably the controversial one is when h3h3 made a video on Thomas (video since deleted) where he would pretend to mail himself in a plastic container (video shown above) from the UK all the way to France. Obviously, you wouldn't survive for many reasons and as a result was received mixed to negative backlash from the community. The YouTuber Slazo (long before his drama) made a couple of videos on Thomas and why he's pathetic, but also another YouTuber named Charlayo made a video on him as well.
The whole drama itself remained for roughly 6 to 7 years and everyone started to come onboard with the situation however unlike the rest of the clickbaiting community, he came out with a video titled "Speaking the Truth" (video shown above) in which he explains that all of those mailing challenge videos (and other challenges he used to do) were indeed fake. I mean at least he was honest about it. His career took a huge turn for the worst as he's been losing subscribers since 2020 and he switched platforms over to twitch so it's no surprise there.
