It's pretty damn crazy that when someone gets caught in the act, they try to deny any wrongdoings. It's the primary reason why there are a lot of predators out there on social media and on YouTube. There are quite a few predators I talked about here on this blog including Mini Ladd, AmorAltra, Charem the Shadox and Zoe Laverne. If you haven't seen any of those posts, I would recommend checking them out. For today's post we are going to be talking about Sienna Mae Gomez; a YouTuber who makes videos related to vlogs but was caught in the act with several deleted videos of her doing inappropriate things to another person by the name of Jack Wright.
The Major Fall:
Jack Wright:
On May 30, 2021, one of Jack Wrights friends named Mason posted a tweet (since deleted but can be access in the archive) confronting Sienna of sexual assault as well as telling Jack to go kill himself. Roughly 2 days later (on June 1, 2021), Jack released his own statement about the situation in an Instagram post explaining that Mason and James (another friend) were there to protect him as well as defend him while he was unconscious. On June 3rd, a video had surfaced on TikTok (since deleted but reuploaded to YouTube) from one of Jacks friends showing video evidence of Sienna Mae on top of Jack trying to kiss him while basically touching his crotch. From there, this was pretty much the end for Sienna but not enough for her to make several fake apologies.
Sienna came out with a video (shown above) basically trying to deny the allegations as well as any wrongdoings however this didn't work as it was very clear that she was caught red handed in the video evidence. her reputation was met with intense amount of backlash from the community to the point where she would be on hiatus. Her inactivity would only last for a month before returning to YouTube on July 7, 2021.
On January 20, 2022 (roughly 8 months after the allegations surfaced against Sienna), Jack would make a 17 minute video titled "what sienna mae did to me" (video shown above). In it, he talks about everything that went on during that time including more video evidence about the situation. Not only that what she was doing was predatory, but also Jack said that she was cheating twice. Around 2 days later, Sienna made a journal entry on her Medium website as well as her other website basically just underlining the relationship and also trying to deny the allegations. As a result, it was received poorly.
To add more insults to injuries, it still didn't stop her from making another apology video (deleted but reuploaded). it was pretty much a non-apology video claiming that she was leaving social media to "better herself" I guess in life and it was downright pathetic. as a result, the video was disliked-bomb at the time when it was still up and several YouTuber's like Ryan Beard, Moist Critikal and j aubrey made videos on it. This also resulted in her being inactive for several months before coming back in May of 2022.
The Aftermath:
So, what about the aftermath? Well, it's pretty obvious about this one since she rarely posts anything to her YouTube channel but currently, her Instagram is still up and she posts photos every single day with commenters not realizing the damage done by her reputation. Even the videos she uploads are disliked-bomb by the community. At the time I'm making this post, the video screenshot (shown above) has 381 likes to 4.1k dislikes.
