Once again, another day and yet another one of those YouTuber's where they just suck in general for past actions. Many of them don't know when to keep their mouths shut when they blare out bullshit. I've talked about and mentioned a couple of Roblox related YouTuber's like this guy such as ArtieRaccoonYT and kaka v420. If you haven't seen those posts, I would recommend checking them out but anyways for today's post we are going to be talking about DeeterPlays; a YouTuber who became notorious for his Roblox videos and gameplays but was caught blaming a child for being groomed as well as having beef against another YouTuber Ruben Sim.
DeeterPlays (formerly known as Deeter and G-Rated Family Gaming) started his account on February 16, 2016, and uploaded his first video on February 21, 2016, with the first video titled "Lets Play Kirby Return to Dreamland 1-1" which was essentially a let's play video to one of the Kirby games. At the beginning of his career he would make videos related to other video games, io games, family and real-life stuff, and a few other things. Around the fall of 2016, he switched his gameplay over to Roblox stuff which garnered him views and subscribers. Many of his videos include Roblox News, Egg Hunts, Loomian Legacy Hype, Events, and more. Between the month of April and May of 2020, he gained 108,000 new subscribers in one month, gaining from 197,000 to 305,000. One of his most popular yet most viewed video on his channel is titled "HOW TO ENTER PROMO CODES ON A MOBILE DEVICE IN ROBLOX" which seems like a scummy title for that but whatever. He's also considered to be a Roblox employee but unfortunately, he hasn't been fired.

There's a big part of the story that's all about him vs another YouTuber Ruben Sim that were going to have to skip. The reason for that is because it's long, boring and straight up confusing. If you want to see it for yourself, click here. I might cover it later on in an update.
Anyways I wanted to talk about this subject here because it's the most insane thing that Deeter ever said. On December 22, 2021, Deeter uploads a video (since unlisted) titled "WHY ARE THESE GUYS BLAMING ROBLOX FOR EVERYTHING!?" (Shown above). In it he tries to explain why the channel People Make Games exposes Roblox on every topic however Deeter fails to prove his point on it. Here's the worst part, there was a 12-year-old girl by the name of Sarah who had been groomed by a 24-year-old who goes by the channel name DrRofatnik. Deeter goes on in the video about him blaming Sarah, disavowing the behavior and also saying that Sarah shouldn't be on Discord until she's 13 and also blaming the parents. In his own defense (at the time when he made the video) he was rooting for the pedophiles.
Aftermath / The Response:
At the time I'm making this post, the video received 684 likes to 1,946 dislikes. Before he changed his viewpoint, he received quite a bit of backlash to the point where YouTuber's like Nattie Forsyth and c0pyk4t & co made videos on the situation. Many users of that video hated his statements including several commenters expressing the issues wrong with that video. Keep in mind that Deeter has a family and has a couple of kids so with him coming out and attacking others while giving out his weak pathetic defense is absurd. It's almost the complete level of Brooke Houts. Oh and also he's trying to get some YouTuber's deplatformed when Deeter dug himself in his own little grave.
After this whole drama surfaced, the video has been unlisted and has posted a pinned comment under that video. He commented stating that:
"it's important for parents to monitor and restrict internet usage of their kids. Pointing fingers at Roblox ONLY in this situation is just bad for the issue as a whole."
He also stated in his statement that for the people who thought that he was victim blaming was a lie, although it's very hard to believe that because he literally did just that. He also states that he wants better ways to help them and also links to various different media outlets for child safety. Needless to say, this guy shouldn't be on the internet. With his pathetic rants, it's no wonder this guy is going downhill. What are your thoughts on this?
