I swear, every post that I talk about related to any YouTuber's, it gets worse and worse on every single one. That is with this guy as his career only lasted for roughly 3 years until he was immediately cancelled for being a predator. I've talked about YouTube predators before in the past like Mini Ladd (with Update), Zoe Laverne, Horror Versions, Rocky Rakoon, AmorAltra, Charem the Shadox (with Update) and the entire list goes on. Check out those posts if you're interested, but anyways were talking about another one and for this we have JinBop; a YouTuber who was known for playing a lot of games and being part of the Minecraft Community, but stopped uploading after the allegations came out.
JinBop (also known as Starlit "Jin" Zhao) started his account on December 13, 2013. His account remained inactive for quite some time until July 12, 2014, when the first video titled "Minecraft: Simple Beginnings! PART 1" was released. He would continue to play Minecraft when at the time was in the 1.7.10 phase but slowly switching to other games like Divinity, PayDay 2 and GarrysMod. Within the next couple of years, content on his channel would change from being part of the Minecraft Community to just playing casual games like the ones I've mentioned already. Slowly sneaking in The Binding of Isaac and FNAF. One of his most popular and yet most viewed video on his channel is titled "FAN GAME Boppin' Scared! - WHATS BOPPIN?!" which has been deleted due to a third-party privacy claim.
The Big Fall:
Predatory Behavior / Arrest / Release:
After the release of this video on August 10, 2016, Starlit Zhao had left YouTube. Part of this is because Zhao was having sexual relationships with a minor. A YouTuber by the name of Scarce posted a video on Zhao with him finding a court case between the victim and Zhao himself and this was 2 days before his last and final video. Keemstar also got a hold of this story but both Keem's video and Scarce's video on Zhao were private. Evidentially, Zhao would post a video in September of 2016 and why he wasn't uploading anymore regarding his arrest but that video was deleted or never to be found. After this story came out, one YouTuber that I was able to find a video on was SkyDoesMinecraft who talked about Zhao. Based on what I heard about Zhao, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison with his release set to be this year.
However, he never served the full 7 years or even for the rest of his entire life. Unfortunately, he was released just last year for unknown reasons. This caused a slight uproar regarding in tweets, a podcast episode talking about the situation and even YouTuber's like Toastify, Luckless, BillsYT and many others made videos on Zhao. After when he was released, no new information has ever come up to the light. It's honestly pathetic that he couldn't be in prison for the rest of his entire life after what he's done and people like Zhao should fucking rot.
