There's a known difference between coming up with new ideas for content and just straight up stealing content from other YouTuber's. Some might go on to say that it was an inspiration from the other creators, but most people will be able to tell if it's just a straight copycat from one another. Not only that, but most of them don't even seem to care and will continue until they get called out for it. Well today is just that as we are talking about Enes Batur; a Turkish YouTuber who at the time made music and eventually jumped on the trends like everyone else, but was caught stealing and copying other YouTuber's layouts, flagging channels, breaking the ToS and YouTube still puts him in the spotlight as the most subscribed channel.
Enes Batur (formerly known as Enes Batur Sungurtekin) started his account on November 18, 2012. The account remained inactive until January 20, 2013, when the first video titled "Minecraft-Hunger Games (The Hunger Games) Enes Plays Part 1" was released. In the early days he was a Minecraft player and eventually switched to other games like Call of Duty, Simulation Games (with stuff in VR), Five Nights at Freddy's, Other games like browser games and so on but would come up with absurd titles for them. Other times, he'll just be making music and has had a music career at some point in time. Before the change, Enes's channel name was originally called newdaynewgame (or NDNG) which is nothing special just thought I would throw that one out. Anyways apart from all the content shift, he would also go his way to make vlog type videos which is also nothing special and a lot of people have done it before. One other thing I forgot to mention is that he also does clickbait videos as of today.
The Big Fall:
The Content Stealing / Copyright Strike Abuse / Can't Take Criticism:
Enes stealing from PewDiePie's Video. |
Even though this is considered to be old drama, it's still important to talk about since this guy can barely take any sort of criticism. Anyways, way back in August of 2019, several YouTuber's such as JT, MythFury, Medium Rare, The Jack ArmyYJB and many others make videos on Enes claiming to be stealing from popular YouTuber's such as PewDiePie and MrBeast. The videos as well as the screenshots show a similar comparison between the two as it's completely obvious that he's stealing content for his own good, however that doesn't seem to be working. As a result, many people criticize him for the similar thumbnails and the similar titles however that doesn't stop him from pulling the asshole move.
Dear @TeamYouTube help @JTonYouTube stop this copyright takedown abuse from @enesbatur00 !!! #DramaAlert pic.twitter.com/4aXRHgViNh
— KEEM 🍿 (@KEEMSTAR) August 18, 2019
Apart from pulling the copycat from other YouTuber's videos, his next line of attack is striking down videos that talk about him and his issues, regardless on which YouTuber it is. One of the craziest things about this guy is the fact that he openly admits that he did it in response to several messages (shown above). JT was considered to be one of them that got striked not once but twice. Luckily the strike was gone or lifted, and the video is back up. Keemstar decided to do a report on Enes and how he was doing the copyright abuse which his channel should be terminated, but it doesn't and to this day he's still active and producing some of the worst content. The guy seriously can't take any criticism for his actions being depicted.
One last thing I want to cover, and this is going to be a short one. Enes was in the YouTube Rewind 2019. It wasn't the first time he was part of them. In fact, he was also in the 2018 Rewind, but YouTube decided to give him a pass without ever realizing what he's done. Honestly it was just a slap in the face and many people just didn't like it at all. Hell, even Turkish people didn't like this guy either.
