Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse from here on out, well then, you're wrong. Today we are talking about The Pink Sauce once again but this time it's a full update on what's going on with Chef Pii (the creator of The Pink Sauce). For those that need context or a quick recap, I did a post called 'The Pink Sauce Drama' back in August of 2022. It was essentially Pii defending her product and her claims. The product is not FDA approved as well as the ingredients and for the people who received their Pink Sauce ended up with exploded bottles due to high heat and non-insulated bags. The KARAMO Talk Show / 13-Year-Old Hospitalized?:
I'm going to keep this short because the drama is pretty much the same. So, what has been going on with Pii in the last 2 months? Well, she is still apparently selling the sauce without even being FDA approved, defending herself from other people's experience with the sauce and getting away with taking people's money. There's also claims based on this article I found online that The Pink Sauce would be available in stores by Christmas. Even if it does make it to stores (which I highly doubt it on my predictions), most people would already know about the controversy. Anyways a video had surfaced pretty recently, and she appeared on a talk show called Karamo. In that video she tries to call out (once again) the claims and her being defensive against her product. The video got so much hate that Karamo decided to delete the video but was re-uploaded (shown above) by someone else. This got the attention of Atozy, AugustTheDuck and Pretty Social to make videos on the situation.
On top of all this, there's some rumors that I missed out when I made the post back in August about a 13-year-old who ended up in the hospital due to consuming The Pink Sauce. If the rumors are true, then it's pretty damn wild. My thoughts are that because The Pink Sauce has milk in it, maybe that's what made her sick? I don't know but the mother made a post on Reddit explaining what happened and the post was harsh and egregious and making her pay for the bills. The 2 comments under the post go to say the same thing about it being egregious.
