The art community can be a great place and sometimes a bad place for most people. We will have a favorite artist that we all enjoy and then all of a sudden, the hopes and dreams will come crashing down. I've seen it happen usually with the artist ranting channels but not often. It's also hard to determine which artist is trustworthy and which ones are not. It all has to do with the actions they've done recently or ones in the past and for that I give you LupisVulpes, a furry artist that is known for destroying her career with just a few words in Discord messages. After the whole debacle with her being Transphobic and Racist during the BLM Movement, she's vanished off of the internet. I also forgot to mention that she's a Christian so she can't draw anything based in the LGBTQ Community on her beliefs. The question is whatever happened to her? Did she disappear entirely off the internet for good? We'll talk more about that a little later. For those that don't know who she is, I'll give you a rundown.
LupisVulpes (real name is Emily Arant) is known in the animation world or the animation community. She draws and animates furry related characters created by herself. She began her YouTube career on December 23, 2009 (two days before Christmas) with the first video being uploaded the next day titled "Maya, Teffera and star art!". This was essentially her first upload of images she drew, and it was a mere test being uploaded to YouTube. Since it was the first drawings she made, there was always room for improvement, and she did. She uploaded her first animation on February 15, 2010, titled "First Wolf Running Cycle" and as the title would insist, it's a wolf running on a loop with music playing in the background. After that, Emily would upload videos that were related to the novel, Warriors (or Warrior Cats) and would stop later on. "Oh, Queen Paint!" was the first video in 2013 to ever broke a million views and also boost her subscriber numbers/ratings. In 2014 she released a pilot episode just titled Audience in collaboration with a user named ChaoticCanineCulture which produced the music for the show but was cancelled shortly after.
What Happened to Her:
It is such a weird question when it's been close to 2 years down the line. Since she's been inactive, what happened to Emily after the controversy? Well, the aftermath for this is most of her social media accounts are inactive (obviously). Some of them are still up although no activity except for Facebook and Instagram. Honestly, she thought that she could get away with it going on CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) to tell her side of the story, but it didn't work at all. Speaking of Facebook and Instagram (based on what I saw of this tweet) Emily was currently active more on Facebook than Instagram since February of 2021 under the name Chapter Two Creations. It's very obvious because of her profile picture on Facebook is the same character from her YouTube Channel or go to the photos and you can see the latest one. Anyways this was Emily's last post on February 15 and then nothing, but crickets and she hasn't come back since. The craziest thing is that the Facebook comments are more delusional than any other comments I've seen on various websites. March 15 is the last time when she updated her profile picture.
